Ed Steinbring, PT Bsc
Graduated from University of Alberta in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Ed joined the team at Strathcona Physical Therapy in 1983 and became partner in 1984. In addition to practicing, Ed is an associate clinical professor at the University of Alberta in both Dentistry/Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine Faculties.
Ed has completed post-graduate courses/certificated in: Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), acupuncture, sports injury rehabilitation and manipulative therapy.
Ed has competed in numerous triathlons including two half iron man, two iron mans and several world champions.
Kimberly Steinbring, MScPT Bcs (Hons)
Kimberly graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Honors Immunology and Infection and Master’s of Physical Therapy. Kimberly received the Dean’s Silver Medal in Science in her undergrad. She has taken hip courses and vestibular training courses. As well as working at Strathcona Physical Therapy, Kimberly works part time at the Cross Cancer Institute and is an examiner for physical therapy tests at the University of Alberta.
Kim enjoys being physically active and likes to go hiking, road biking, climbing and cross-country skiing.
Martin Parfitt, PT Assistant
Martin had worked at Strathcona Physical Therapy for a number of years and is well known in the Edmonton region as a physical therapist. Martin is partially retired and now works as an assistant under the guidance of a qualified physiotherapist two days a week.
Martin has been a part of the University of Alberta in the faculty of rehabilitation medicine and faculty of dentistry.
Susan Braden, PT Assistant
Susan Braden is a Physical Therapy Assistant at Strathcona Physical Therapy since 2014. Susana completed her Physical Therapy degree at Manuela Beltran University in Bogota, Colombia in 1998.
She graduated from Internationally Educated Physiotherapy Bridging Program at the University of Alberta in 2014. Susana is currently working towards her license to practice Physical Therapy in Canada.
In her life outside the clinic, she is a passionate and skilled Zumba instructor who is currently teaching in two different fitness centres in Edmonton. She has helped in the aid of Venezuela by hosting multiple Zumba classes to raise funds towards Venezuela. She is also fully fluent in Spanish.
Colette Gaultois, Office Manager
Colette is our very friendly and capable office manager and front desk administrator. She’s worked at Strathcona Physical Therapy for over 7 years and will gladly book your appointment and answer any administrative questions you may have.
Kailey Cardwell, Part-time Admin.
Kailey works part time at the front desk. She will gladly book appointments and answer questions you may have regarding treatment.
